Samantha “Sammie” McGee, a beacon of beauty nestled in the heart of Wilmington, Born with scissors in hand, she proudly carries the legacy of a salon dynasty that adorned Wrightsville Beach for over three decades. It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the beauty chair; Sammie’s journey in the hair industry, now spanning a glorious 17 years, was kindled beneath the watchful eyes of her grandmother, the original maven of mane.

Crowned as Wilmington’s finest hairstylist three times, in 2014, 2018, and 2019, Sammie’s talents are no secret to the locals. Previously a Unite Educator, sprinkling a little extra sparkle on salons far and wide with the gospel according to UNITE products. Her global escapades include mentoring stylists at UNITE’s Global Sessions in  San Diego, a testament to her belief in growth and the pursuit of hair excellence.

Sammie’s skill set is as versatile as her hair color palette, specializing in everything from transformative color and balayage, to precision cuts for both men and women, not to mention her unparalleled prowess in blondes, and her thriving wedding business, where she weaves dreams into reality for brides-to-be.  

Blending families like she blends colors, Sammie and her partner, Richard, navigate the joys and jests of life with her adorable daughter Lillianna, his sons, Ethan and Jaxon, and a bustling brood of fur babies, her home is a heartwarming chaos of love and laughter.
